Metal Engineering

Continued tradition

During the summer of 2005, the company HAGER Plastics & Metals Engineering GmbH acquired their long standing business partner Günter Nachbauer. It is of great pleasure to the company HAGER to be able to continue with this tradition-rich company.

From the idea to production

We put your wishes into effect and accompany you through the entire production process: From the consultation, the design, prototype production to the finished product - whether for a single unit or with series production. We are also your competent contact partner for machine construction, especially with custom-made machine construction.

We process the hardest metals, from steel, stainless stell, aluminium, aluminium bronze, bronze, brass, copper to titanium.

Also with plastics processing, you can choose from a large selection of materials: PE, PP, POM, PTFE,  PVC, PC, PMMA, PET,  PEEK, various Polyamides with or without fibreglass, and many more.

Processing at the highest standards

Through the use of the latest CNC-controlled technology, we have a wide range of metal processing possibilities available at the highest standards, for example:

  • CNC machining by turning up to 400 lg and  Ø 250 mm (Rod loader to Ø 60 mm)

  • CNC machining by milling 3 axes to 2000 x 900 mm

  • CNC machining by milling 5 sides up to 2000 x 800 mm

  • CNCmachining by milling in  5 axes to Ø800 mm (1800 x 800 x 600)

Of course we also have conventional machinery and highly qualified employees with many years of experience in turning, milling, bending, sawing and welding.

Metal machining systems

The programming of the milling machines and lathes is done using CAD/CAM systems: For milling the system "Hypermill" is used and for turning the system "Peps".

Design and manufacturing drawings are created using „Think Design“, "AutoCAD", "Alibre Design" or "Inventor". This software supports the following file formats: STEP, IGES,  e3, x_t, DXF, DWG,

The metal technology is led by Peter Hager.  Feel free to direct your inquiries to him:
